Overview
If you’re planning to deactivate your existing Lazy AI account's email address then you can follow these steps to ensure continued access to your existing apps. This process involves creating a Team within Lazy, transferring your apps to that Team, and then inviting your new email address to the Team. Once you’ve accepted the invitation, you’ll have full access to all your apps under the new email.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a New Team in Lazy:

    • Log in to your Lazy account using your current (soon-to-be-deactivated) email address.

    • Navigate to the Teams section and create a new Team.

    • Give your new Team a descriptive name that makes it easy to identify.

  2. Move Your Apps to the New Team:

    • From your original profile, go to your list of My Apps.

    • For each app you want to keep, click the Menu button associated with that app.

    • Select Move app to team and choose the newly created Team as the destination.

    • Repeat this process for all apps you need to transfer.

  3. Invite Your New Email Address to the Team:

    • Open your Profile Menu and click the Gear Icon next to the newly created Team.

    • In the modal that appears, add your new email address and send an invitation to join the Team.

    • Check your email inbox for the invitation. If you do not see it, make sure to check your spam or promotions folder.

  4. Log Out and Accept the Invitation:

    • Log out of Lazy completely.

    • Navigate to your email inbox and find the Team invite email sent to your new email address.

    • Click the invitation link to accept and join the Team.

  5. Log in With Your New Email:

    • Once you’ve accepted the invitation, log in to Lazy using your new email credentials.

    • Confirm that all your transferred apps are accessible under the newly invited account.

    • You now have full access to your apps and can safely deactivate the old email address without losing any of your work.

Additional Tips:

  • Confirm Ownership Transfer Early: If you know in advance that the old email address will be deactivated, start this process early to avoid interruptions in access.
